You shouldn’t rush out and cut a check to the first person you come across to hire as your mentor.
Remember your mentor is somebody that you’re going to spend time with for the next 6 to 12 months in most cases. Better be sure this individual shares the same ethics, principles and has your best interest at heart otherwise this is going to be one ugly expensive relationship.
So where the heck do you find your perfect mentor to help you achieve what you’re after?
First you must decide what exactly you want in life. Is it the ability to fire your boss, have an amazing body or be a giant real estate investor.

I want you to hear and learn as much as you can for free from your mentor. Hiring a mentor is an expensive investment this is why you sample their free stuff to be sure that you really want to write this person a check.
Mentorships are usually charge on a monthly basis. They can range anywhere from $500 to $5000 or even $25,000 per month to work one-on-one with them. Before you write them this big check sample their low cost audio programs, video programs or e-books. These can range anywhere from $5.00 to as much as $100 pretty much anybody can afford this. I suggest you start with purchasing one of their low cost programs to see if the value still there. If this person is still delivering even with the low-cost items and you are getting a load of valuable material from them this may be the mentor for you!
If you are financially stable and able to make the purchase of one-on-one coaching or mentorships the results can be amazing. Hire your new mentor once you know they’re the one for you, ask the questions and do as they say!
